Children Films Society of India (CFSI) will screen a special package of children’s films, in association with Films Division through the month of May, timing it with school holidays in Mumbai. And the entry to the screenings is absolutely free! 23 films are being screened between 3rd to 31st May at Films Division auditorium, Pedder Road.
The package includes a range of children’s genres from adventure to fantasy to wildlife. Many of these films have won prestigious national and international awards. From a classic like Shyam Benegal’s ‘Charandas Chor’ to recently produced animation film ‘Krish Trish & Baltiboy’ by Munjal Shroff & Tilak Raj Shetty, Summer Bonanza promises to be exciting viewing for children.
The summer screenings are part of CFSI’s effort to bring children to theatre to watch films made exclusively for them.
