Sub:- Grant of special leave to the Covid-19 infected officials for their treatment period
Sir,
This Federation is in receipt of hundreds of representations regarding grant of Special leaves to the officials who got infected by the Covid-19 during duty period and they were admitted in hospital for treatment or remained in home quarantine and took treatment at home.
This is justified issue as the official was infected while he was rendering his service to the public during the highly risky period of pandemic.
It is therefore, requested to kindly consider the issue of grant of Special leave in the cases as mentioned above sympathetically and cause suitable instructions to all concerned so that the Covid-19 inflected Postal officials may get relief.
