Flowchart for MACP/Promotion fixation before and after 7th CPC

You may find below the flowcharts for various grade pays depicting, employees basic pay variations for both the cases where an employee receives MACP/promotion before 7th CPC fixation and after 7th CPC fixation. It also highlights the difference between the two.

1 Rupee difference or 1 day difference during pay fixation can bring in a huge change in the employee’s net salary. The below flowcharts are plotted based on the 7th CPC recommendation. Please note that the actual pay fixation may be varied after Gazetted notification.
