The provision of this circular shall apply to those Armed Forces Personnel who were/are in service on or after 04.01.2019. The cases in respect of personnel who were invalided out from service before 04.01.2019 will not be re-opened.
Pension Disbursing Agencies will regulate payment of Ordinary family pension accordingly. Inclusion of names of the widowed/divorced/unmarried daughter/parents/permanently disabled children/dependent disabled siblings (i.e. brothers and sisters) in the PPO- Procedure regarding
“The NSDL shall identify from its records all such cases which are covered wider the decision contained in DFS notification dated 31.01.2019 and pass on such employees wise details on its own to concerned Head of Office & DDO/PAO where the employee is currently posted”.
Department of Personnel & Training has issued instructions vide their OM No. 18/03/2015-Esst. (Pay-I) dated 02.03.2016 that the issue of wrongful/excess payment made to Government servants may be dealt with in accordance with the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the above mentioned case.
Grant of Dress Allowance and if any recovery has been made, the same may be refunded to the relevant individuals involved in these cases.
