The provision of this circular shall apply to those Armed Forces Personnel who were/are in service on or after 04.01.2019. The cases in respect of personnel who were invalided out from service before 04.01.2019 will not be re-opened.

Waiver of recovery of wrongful/excess payments – DOP&PW
Department of Personnel & Training has issued instructions vide their OM No. 18/03/2015-Esst. (Pay-I) dated 02.03.2016 that the issue of wrongful/excess payment made to Government servants may be dealt with in accordance with the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the above mentioned case.
Payment of Dress Allowance – PCDA
Grant of Dress Allowance and if any recovery has been made, the same may be refunded to the relevant individuals involved in these cases.
