Government officers and employees will be given 7 percent dearness allowance with effect from July 1, 2014. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced this here today. Increased dearness allowance will benefit 4 lakh permanent officers and employees of the state government, 2 lakh 8 thousand pensioners and 2 lakh employees of Panchayat raj institutions.
This increase in dearness allowance/relief payable to government employees, pensioners, Adhyapak Samvarg employed in Panchayat raj institutions and local bodies and Panchayat Secretaries of Panchayats & Rural Department has been widely hailed since it has been made during month of festivals.
