The Rigveda is an ancient Indian collection of Sanskrit hymns. For this Hindu Dharma to remain holy (Shruti) is said to walk together. The text is layered and includes the Samhitas, the Brahmanas, the Aranyakas and the Upanishads. The Rigveda is the oldest known Vedic Sanskrit text. Even in the olden times, the first ones were kept in one. It is one of the four sacred canonical texts of Hinduism known as the Vedas.

The Rigveda describes the deities and their position in Devaloka. And along with it, information about healing through water therapy, air therapy, manas therapy and havan etc. is available. There is also a folk tale in Rigveda about the rejuvenation of Chavan Rishi.
