This Old Age Pension Form is issued by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh and can be obtained from the Social Welfare Department or it can be downloaded from the link given below. “Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme” jointly funded by the Government of India and the State Government is operating since 1994 with the objective of providing financial assistance in the form of pension to the old people of the state through the Social Welfare Department.
Under Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme, it is permissible to give pension at the rate of Rs.800/- per month per beneficiary to eligible elderly persons in the BPL list of 60 years and above through their bank accounts in two half yearly installments per year.
Eligibility
- An applicant who is a resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
- Applicant who belongs to below poverty line group.
- The applicant should also have a certificate of BPL.
- The applicant should be from the economically weaker section of the society.
- Also, the applicant can be from the backward section of the society.
