ORDER

Sub: 

Amendment in the Rajasthan Travelling Allowance Rules, 1971.

The Governor is pleased to make the following amendment in the Rajasthan Travelling Allowance Rules, 1971, namely:

In the said Rules – below the existing clause (v) of sub-rule (1) of Rule 28, the following new clause (vi) shall be inserted namely :-

“(vi) A government servant belonging to category “A” and “B” before his retirement if summoned to give evidence after retirement in a criminal case or a civil case to which government is a party, to give evidence of the facts which came to his knowledge while discharging duties of the post, if travels by own car or taxi shall be entitled to Travelling Allowance limited to Special Rate prescribed for journey on tour under Rule 8(1) of Appendix II of Rajasthan Travelling Allowance Rules, 1971.”
