GOVT. ORDER NO. FD (Spl) 229 PEN 2012
BANGALORE, DATED 25th OCTOBER 2012
As recommended by the Official Pay Committee-2011, in the G.O. read at (1) above, the Pension/Family Pension of the State Government Pensioners/Family Pensioners has been revised with effect from 1st July 2012.
Government are pleased to sanction Dearness allowance with effect from 1st July 2012 at the rate of 4% of the revised basic pension/family pension of the State Government pensioners/family pensioners and pensioners/family pensioners of the aided educational institutions whose pension/family pension is paid out of the Consolidated Fund of the State.
This order shall not be applicable to pensioners who were drawing immediately before retirement pay in the UGC,AICTE and ICAR, NJPC scales of pay and who retired on or after 1st January 2006.
The increase in Dearness Allowance admissible under this order is payable in cash.
The payment on account of the increase in dearness allowance as per this order involving fractions of 50 paise and above shall be rounded off to the next rupee and fractions less than 50 paise shall be ignored.
