Revision of pension/family pension in respect of the teaching staff of Medical Education Department who retired prior to 01,04.90 – Orders issued.
In the Government orders read above, orders were issued revising pension of the state Government pensioners. In the representation submitted by the teaching staff of Medical Education’ Scheme who retired prior to 01.04.90, it is pointed out that they are deprived of the benefit of lone rank one pension ‘ solely for the reason that central scales were introduced subsequent to their retirement.
After having examined the matter in detail, Government are pleased to order that while fixing ‘one rank one pension ‘ in respect of the teaching staff of Medical Education Department who retired prior to 1.04.90, the pension will be revised taking into account the scale of pay as shown in the table below as the corresponding revised scale, based on the scale of pay of their counter parts in other medical education departments in Pay Revision 2004.
