Allotment of 1,200 flats under HC scanner
It might just turn out to be another Adarsh scam. More than 1,200 flat allotments made by the Central Government Employee’s Welfare Housing Organization (CGEWHO) in Mumbai are under the scanner of the Delhi high court.
Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw recently converted the case of an individual applicant seeking possession of a flat into a PIL since broader issues were involved in the flat allotments. HC took the step after it got to know that conditions might have been diluted to allot flats to those who were not qualified. ——————- full story- Timesofindia
