Department of Personnel & Training has issued instructions vide their OM No. 18/03/2015-Esst. (Pay-I) dated 02.03.2016 that the issue of wrongful/excess payment made to Government servants may be dealt with in accordance with the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the above mentioned case.

Approval for termination of wrongly migrated policies -DOP
Circles were requested to terminate all the wrongly migrated policies in McCamish system, by indexing death claims against these policies and reject such claims at the QC/Approver level and to guard against any double payment/frauds. Further circles were requested to complete termination of all wrongly migrated policies by 30th June 2020.
