Latest DA Revisions for CPSE Employees – 7th CPC, IDA Updates & More

The Government of India has issued a series of Office Memorandums (OMs) detailing revisions in Dearness Allowance (DA) rates for employees under various pay structures in CPSEs:

1. DA Increase for CPSE Employees (7th CPC Pay Scales):
   • DA rate increased from 50% to 53%, effective 1st July 2024.
   • Arrears will be paid with October 2024 salaries.

2. IDA Updates for Board Level and Non-Unionized Supervisors in CPSEs:
   • 224.2% for 2007 pay scales.
   • 47.7% for 2017 pay scales.
   • 447.4% for 1997 pay scales.
   • Effective from 01.10.2024, as per respective DA schemes.
     
3. IDA Rates for 1987 and 1992 Pay Scales:
   • New DA rates based on AICPI 9350 (1960=100), effective 01.10.2024:
     • 750.8% for pay up to Rs. 3500 (minimum Rs. 16,502).
     • 563.1% for pay between Rs. 3500 and Rs. 6500 (minimum Rs. 26,278).
     • 450.5% for pay between Rs. 6500 and Rs. 9500 (minimum Rs. 36,601).
     • 375.4% for pay above Rs. 9500 (minimum Rs. 42,795).
   • DA quantum for executives and supervisors calculated based on the old system of neutralization.
