In a letter dated October 4, 2023, the All India Postal Employees Union Group ‘C’ has earnestly requested the Secretary of the Department of Posts to consider the early payment of “BONUS” before the approaching Pooja Festival, specifically for the financial year 2022-2023.
With the Dushera festival scheduled to be celebrated on October 24, 2023, there is a longstanding tradition of disbursing the PL Bonus for the previous fiscal year before the onset of the Pooja festival. This tradition holds great significance across the country, and postal employees eagerly anticipate this bonus as part of their celebrations.
The union emphasizes the importance of this festival to people across India and highlights the anticipation among postal department staff for the Bonus payment for the fiscal year 2022-2023.
In light of these considerations, the All India Postal Employees Union Group ‘C’ respectfully appeals to the Department of Posts to take proactive measures to ensure the early disbursement of the bonus well before the festive date of October 24, 2023.
This request comes from the General Secretary, Mr. Naresh Gupta, on behalf of the union, urging the authorities to facilitate timely financial support for postal employees to enhance their celebrations during the Pooja festival.
