Office & Building Closures for G-20 Summit 2023 Security Checks

The Indian government has issued an Office Memorandum regarding the closure of offices and buildings in connection with the G-20 Summit, scheduled for September 9th and 10th, 2023, in Delhi. To ensure the utmost security during the summit, Anti-Sabotage Checks will be conducted in specified buildings listed in the Annexure.

These buildings must be vacated starting from 0900 hrs on September 8th, 2023, in order to complete the anti-sabotage checks and seal the rooms. Delhi Police arrangements will remain in effect until 0800 hours on September 11th, 2023. Additionally, roof-watchers will be deployed for building sanitization, necessitating access to both the buildings and rooftops as per the enclosed list. This memorandum is to be communicated to all relevant parties.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Closure of Offices / buildings in connection with G-20 Summit, 2023 – regarding

The G-20 Summit, 2023 will be held in Delhi during 9th and 10th of September, 2023. As a part of efforts to ensure foolproof security during G-20 Summit-2023, thorough Anti – Sabotage Checks are required to be done in the Buildings mentioned as Annexure well before the starting of G-20 Summit. These Buildings are required to be vacated from 0900 hrs on 08.09.2023 so as to seal the rooms after completion of regular anti-sabotage checks. The arrangements made by Delhi Police will be continued till 0800 hours on 11.09.2023. Besides, in order to sanitize the buildings, Roof-watchers are to be deployed. Due to which, it will be essential that buildings and the roof tops (as per list enclosed) are made available for thorough Anti-Sabotage Check.
