AIIMS Bhubaneswar’s Special Desk for CGHS Beneficiaries

The Additional Director of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) in Bhubaneswar has written a letter to the Director of CGHS under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The letter, dated August 17, 2023, addresses the subject of “Treatment of CGHS pensioner beneficiaries and others at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.”

In the letter, it is mentioned that a special dedicated registration desk has been set up at AIIMS Bhubaneswar to assist eligible CGHS beneficiaries in accessing healthcare services at the premium institution. The coordination for this initiative has been established with the Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

With reference to the OM no-Z.16025/12/2023/CGHS-III Dt-31/05/2023, on the subject mentioned above, I have to convey that with the co-ordination of Director AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, a special dedicated registration desk has been created to facilitate eligible CGHS beneficiaries to avail health care facilities of premium institution.

The CMO I/Cs of all the wellness centres under CGHS, Bhubaneswar including Berhampur and Cuttack has been intimated with this development ,along with request that information regarding this may be circulated among all staffs and also be placed in the notice board.

The local and national print media also published this information for wide publicity (Copy attached).
