Revised Remuneration for Contractual Staff Nurses – NVS

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, a part of the Ministry of Education under the Government of India, has issued a notification regarding the revision of remuneration for staff nurses employed on a contract basis.

The decision to enhance the consolidated remuneration was made during the 43rd Meeting of the Executive Committee held on April 10, 2023. The revised rates will be applicable from the date of the notification.

It is emphasized that contractual appointments are temporary measures to address immediate requirements, and the revised remuneration will be given to fully qualified staff nurses engaged through proper procedures for vacant sanctioned posts or leave vacancies in Vidyalayas.

The letter is signed by Vikram Joshi, Deputy Commissioner (Pers.), and is addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti’s regional offices.

Sub: Revision of remuneration to Staff Nurse engaged on contract basis – reg.

Sir/Madam,

The Executive Committee in its 43rd Meeting held on 10th April 2023 recommended the proposal of Enhancement of remuneration to be paid to Staff Nurse engaged on contract basis. It has been decided to enhance the consolidated remuneration being paid to the Staff Nurse on contract basis as under:

The revised rates will be applicable with effect from the date of Notification of this order.

The appointment of contractual employees against regular posts is short term measure in exigencies only. The revised remuneration is payable to the Staff Nurse on contract basis who are fully qualified and engaged by following due procedures against a vacant sanctioned post/ leave vacancy in a Vidyalaya.

This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
