Railway Board’s Response to CVC’s Letter on Complaints Handling

The Ministry of Railway in India has issued a circular to all Zonal Railways and Production Units regarding the handling of complaints in the commission-seeking factual report.

The circular encloses a letter from the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) with instructions for submitting a factual report within 21 days of receiving the Board’s letter. The CVC has requested that the factual report be processed within 30 days to enable submission of the case to the CVC.

Sub.: Handling of Complaints in the Commission-seeking factual report-reg.

Please find enclosed herewith a copy of CVC’s letter’ No.021/VGL/051 (Circular No. 03/04/23) dtd 06.04.2023 on the subject mentioned above. The contents of the letter are self explanatory.

Necessary action as per CVC’s instructions for submission of Factual Report may be taken. Factual report may kindly be sent to Board’s office within 21 days of receipt of Board’s letter, to examine/process the case for submission to a CVC within stipulated time of 30 days.
