The Department of Public Enterprises under the Ministry of Finance in India has issued an Office Memorandum dated 4th May 2023, announcing an extension in the prescribed timelines for writing Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) for top management incumbents of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) for the year 2021-22.
The extension has been provided in continuation of the Department’s earlier O.M. dated 9th April 2019, 27th December 2022, and 9th March 2023. The administrative Ministries/Departments have been requested to take note of the extension and take necessary action accordingly. No further details about the extension have been provided in the memorandum.

Subject: – Extension in prescribed timelines for writing Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) of top management incumbents of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) for the year 2021-22.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even no. dated 9th April 2019 , 27th December 2022 & 9th March 2023 and to state that it has been decided to further extend the timelines for writing APARs of top management incumbents of CPSEs for the year 2021-22 in the following manner:-
