The Office of the Controller of Defence Accounts in Guwahati has issued a memorandum to various offices regarding the review of NPS Oversight Mechanism. The memorandum includes actionable points forwarded by the HQrs office, which were discussed in a meeting held on 26/04/2023 & 27/04/2023 with Regional & Functional Controllers. The offices are requested to take necessary action immediately on the mentioned issues and report back to the Controller of Defence Accounts.

HQrs office vide their letter cited above nas forwarded following actionable points (enclosed) with reference 10 the review meeting held on 26/04/2023 & 27/04/2023 with Regional & Functional Controllers through VC under the chairmanship of Addl. CGDA (SGD):
- Generation of PRAWN and timely remittance of monthly contribution.
- Remittance of monthly contribution specifically in respect of Industrial Employees (IEs)
- Mismatches in SCF.
- Status of pending of withdrawal request on exit from NPS.
- Status of other PRAN related issues.
- Half Yearly/Quarterly report on NPS oversight mechanism.
- Mapping/Registration of DDOs/Units.
In this regard, all offices are requested to take necessary action immediately on the above mentioned issues under intimation to this office.
This issues with the approval of Group Officer, NPS.
