Clarification on DA Admissible to Employees during Residential Training Programs

May 8, 2023 by Eliza Leave a Comment

The Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts in India has issued a clarification regarding the reimbursement of food bills for officials/officers attending residential government-sponsored training programmes.

According to the provisions mentioned in the Training Division letter, 80% of the approved rates on account of food bill reimbursement will be charged from the officials/officers, and the remaining 20% or more of the approved rate may be spent by the officials/officers themselves on incidentals.

However, the full food bill per day will be paid to the officials/officers as per their entitlement mentioned in the O.M. dated 13.07.2017, and the food bills will be regulated depending on the length of absence from headquarters.
