The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a revised Master Circular on the disbursement of government pension by agency banks. This circular consolidates important instructions on the subject issued by the RBI until March 31, 2023.
All agency banks have been instructed to refer to this circular for guidance. The circular can be downloaded from the RBI’s website. The circular was issued on April 3, 2023, and signed by Indranil Chakraborty, the Chief General Manager of the RBI.
