Need of Permanent Infrastructure for Kendriya Vidyalayas

February 20, 2023 by Eliza Leave a Comment

According to a response by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, no Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) is operational in rented accommodation. However, KVs have been made functional in temporary accommodation provided by sponsoring authorities until the construction of permanent school buildings by KVS. Currently, 253 KVs, including 16 in Bihar, are functioning in temporary accommodation provided by various sponsoring authorities. The construction of permanent buildings for KVs is a continuous process that depends on various factors, such as the identification of suitable land and the availability of funds and approvals.
