The Railway Board of India has announced in RBE No. 37/2023 that AM level officers (Level-16) who have been posted outside Delhi will now be permitted to retain their railway accommodation at their previous place of posting. This decision was made in the interest of public service and the license fee for retention of the accommodation will be charged as per the provisions of para-3 of Board’s letter No.E(G) 2021 RN 2-2 dated 01.7.2022. The announcement concludes with a request for acknowledgement of receipt.

Sub: Provision of facility of retention of Railway accommodation to AM level(Level16) officers posted outside Delhi.
In exercise of the powers vested in it to make reasonable relaxations in public interest for a class/group of employees in all or any of the provisions regarding house allotment/retention, the Full Board have decided that AM level officers (Level-16) posted outside Delhi may be permitted to retain railway accommodation at previous place of posting. License fee for such retention of railway accommodation will be charged as per the provisions of para-3 of Board’s letter No.E(G) 2021 RN 2-2 dated 01.7.2022.
