Sub: Engagement of staff against posts of SSEs/JEs( Works) in Construction organization by engagement on contract basis.
Ref: Board’s letter No. E(NG)II/2020/RC-4/2(Pt.) dated 15.02.2022 and 21.02.2022.
In terms of Board’s letters of even number cited under reference, the scheme for engagement of staff as JTAs/Technical Supervisors against posts of SSEs/JEs (Works) on contract basis for targeted construction works in Construction Organizations and project work in open line was in operation till 19.11.2022.
- Proposal from Railways for extension of this scheme has been considered in Board. It has been decided to extend the scheme for engagement of staff as JTAs/Technical Supervisors against posts of SSEs/JEs (Works) on contract basis for targeted construction works in Construction Organizations and project work in open line for a further period of one year beyond 19.11.2022 i.e. upto 19.11.2023 for a total 800 JTAs/Technical Supervisors with ceiling of 50 in each Zonal Railway, on existing terms/conditions and remuneration as per Board’s letter No.2018/Trans.Cell/S&T/Contractual Staff dated dated 20.11.2018 attached herewith as Annexure.
- The above contractual engagement will be subject to stipulation that no retired employee will be engaged against this scheme.
