Sub: Retention of Railway accommodation by Railway officers/staff on their deputation to National Capital Region Transport Corporation(NCRTC).

Attention is invited to Board’s letter of even number dated 31.12.2019 regarding retention of Railway accommodation by Railway officers/staff on deputation to National Capital Region Transport Corporation(NCRTC). Permission to retain Railway accommodation is available upto 31.12.2022.

  1. Now, on consideration of a request received from NCRTC and in exercise of the powers vested in it to make reasonable relaxations in public interest for a class/group of employees in all or any of the provisions regarding house allotment/retention, the Full Board have decided that permission granted vide their letter of even number dated 31.12.2019 for Railway officers/staff on deputation to NCRTC to retain Railway accommodation, be extended for a further period of 02 years i.e. upto 30.12.2024 subject to the condition that NCRTC would provide leased accommodation to the officers of concerned Zonal Railway(s), for all houses retained by it (NCRTC), as per the officer’s choice according to Railway priority list, at the rate of lease entitlement of corresponding grade of officers of NCRTC.
  2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
  3. Please acknowledge receipt.
