An amendment to Chapter 9 of the Indian Railway Establishment Code Vol.I (1985-Edition). The amendment is being made in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution. The amendment is being made by the Railway Board and is being directed by the President. The Advanced Correction Slip No. 144 attached contains the details of the amendment.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to direct that Chapter 9 of Indian Railway Establishment Code Vol.I, (1985-Edition) (Third Re-print Edition 2008) be amended as in the Advanced Correction Slip No. 144 attached.
