This letter from the Office of the Controller General of Defence Account (CGDA) informs all PCsDA/PIFAs/CsDA/IFAs and PCA (Fys) that lists of “Hard Stations” and “Tenure Stations” have been reviewed and revised by the Competent Authority. There is no change in the criteria and procedure for posting/transfer at these stations and they will remain the same as outlined in previous CGDA letters. The annexures to the letter provide the updated lists of Hard Stations and Tenure Stations, and note that for individuals posted to the North East Region (NER), the tenure will be 2 or 3 years, depending on length of service, as per a Ministry of Finance directive. For hard stations outside of the NER, the tenure is one or two years, as per a CGDA letter.
