BPMS Urges Ministry of Defence to Address Extension of Night Duty Allowance

The Bharatiya Pratiraksha Mazdoor Sangh (BPMS) is requesting the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Defence’s D(QS) section to examine and take further action on the matter of extending Night Duty Allowance to erstwhile Group ‘D’ employees working in RTS &D under DGRVS/ Army HQ. The BPMS had previously sent a letter on this matter on March 7, 2020 and reminded the Under Secretary on March 16, 2021 but the matter has yet to be attended to. The BPMS is requesting that the matter be looked into and necessary action be taken.

2) D(Civ-II)/ MoD letter No. 14(01)/2020/D(Civ-II) dated 15.06.2020

Respected Sir,

With due regards, your kind attention is invited to the letter cited under reference (2) whereby D(QS) Section, being. the Administrative Section in respect of DGRVS/ QMG Branch, was requested to examine the-matter-of extension of Night Duty Allowance to erstwhile Group ‘D’ employees working in RTS&D under DGRVS/Army HQ in the light of orders on Night Duty Allowance, and take further necessary action in this regard.

This federation vide letter dated 16.03.2021 cited under reference 1 had made reminder to your goodself to look into the matter and do the needful. But after lapse of enough time, the matter is still unattended.

Therefore, your goodself is again requested to go through the matter and do the needful.
