Vishwakarma Puja Vidhi, Mantra Overview
Lord Vishwakarma, the architect of the gods, was born on Kanya Sankranti 2022 of the month of Ashwin. Vishwakarma Jayanti is celebrated every year on 17 September. Lord Vishwakarma, who is considered the first engineer of the universe, is worshiped on this day. On this day people pray for progress in work by worshiping machines, tools and equipment used in construction work, vehicles in their offices, factories.
According to religious beliefs, by the grace of Lord Vishwakarma, the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled, there is progress and progress in business. Whatever tasks are started, they get completed. - Lord Vishwakarma has built weapons, buildings, temples etc. of the gods.
- On this day the institutions related to construction work keep the institutes closed after the worship of Lord Vishwakarma.
- On the day of Vishwakarma Jayanti, after taking bath before sunrise, clean the place where worship is to be done at your workplace.
- Purify the place by sprinkling Gangajal. Then make a rangoli on the puja post and spread a yellow cloth.
- Now while chanting the mantra Om Lord Vishwakarma Dev Shilpi Ihagachchh Ih Suprishtho Bhava with Akshat in hand, install a picture or statue of Lord Vishwakarma at the post.
