Kalabhairava Ashtakam Overview
Kaal Bhairav Ashtakam is a Sanskrit Ashtakam written by Adi Shankara. The hymn refers to the personification of Kaal Bhairav of Kashi (also known as Bhairav), the god of death (Kaal). It has eight verses, which are characteristic of an Ashtakam.
Adi Shankaracharya composed the Kalabhairav Ashtakam. It makes you very strong and powerful. The song will take you closer to Shiva and you can feel Shiva when you chant the bhajan. All your issues will be resolved as Kaal (time) will be in your favor.
Bhaktas or devotees have full faith that worshipping Bhairava will bring them prosperity, success, and good children, gain long life and remove financial problems. He is considered a destroyer of all things bad such as lust and greed as also fear. He protects weak women who seek his help.

భానుకోటిభాస్వరం భవాబ్ధితారకం పరం
నీలకణ్ఠమీప్సితార్థదాయకం త్రిలోచనమ్ |
