Bangla Shasya Bima Kharif Form 2022 Overview
The Objective of this Scheme is to provide financial help to farmers to protect their crops. This is an insurance scheme which give some financial assistance to farmers on the damage of their crops. Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has this scheme in 2019 to help poor farmers of the state.
Bengali Crop Insurance (Bangla Crop Insurance) Scheme 2019 will be launched in collaboration with Agriculture Insurance Company of India (AIC). Farmers do not have to pay any premium amount to avail the benefits of Bengal Crop Insurance Scheme. State Govt on behalf of farmers. Bengali Crop Insurance will bear the crop insurance premium.

- Aman Paddy
- Jute and Maize
- Anus Paddy
- Annual Commercial/ Annual Horticulture Crops
- Wheat
- Other Crops (cereals, other millets, and pulses)
Eligibility Criteria
- An applicant should be a farmer by a profession.
- He must be a resident of West Bengal
