Akshaya Tritiya Puja Vidhi:
- After taking bath in the morning on Akshaya Tritiya, install the idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu at a clean place in the house.
- To anoint Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu, take cow’s milk in the Dakshinavarti conch.
- You can also add saffron to this milk. After doing Abhishek, bathe the idol with water, then offer things like Gulal, Rice, Kumkum, Abir etc. to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu.
- Offer flowers and necklaces with seasonal fruits and offer Kheer.
- After this chant the mantras of Goddess Lakshmi while chanting the rosary 11 times. After the worship, distribute prasad to the devotees and do charity.
Akshaya Tritiya Shubh Muhurat.
This year Akshaya Tritiya is scheduled to begin on May 3 at 5:19 am and will end on May 4 at 7:33 am. On this day five Raja Yogas namely Kedar, Shubh Kartari, Ubhayachari, Vimal and Sumukh are being formed.
