Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme

The Uttarakhand government gives Vidhwa Pension as financial assistance to the destitute women of their state. The Uttarakhand government gives widow pension to those women whose husband dies. Due to which their source of income ends. Under Uttarakhand Widow Pension Yojana, Rs 1,000 per month is given to the destitute (widow) woman by the state government. Which is available as one installment for three months. Vidhwa Pension Mahila is sent by the Uttarakhand Government to the bank account of the beneficiary woman through DBT.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant should be a widow woman, a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
• The benefit will be available only to those widowed women whose age is more than 18 years.
• The monthly income of the widow woman from all sources should not exceed Rs.1000.
• And the benefit of this pension scheme will not be available to the widow woman living in a joint family, this benefit will be available only to the widowed widow woman.
