Sai Satcharitra in English
The Sai Satcharita is a biography of Sai Baba of Shirdi. It was written by Hemadpant, who published the original edition in Marathi on 26 November 1930. Shri. Nagash Devastate (N.V.) Gunaji translated the original Marathi composition to English in 1944. In 1910, when Hemadpant came to Shirdi, he observed a miracle in which Sai Baba prevented the raging cholera epidemic from entering Shirdi by grinding wheat on a grindstone and dispersing them around the borders of Shirdi.
Sai Satcharitra contains a total of 52 chapters. After bathing in the sacred Godavari and after taking the darshan of the Samadhi in the Samadhi-mandir in Shirdi, you should read or hear the Satcharita. If you do this all your threefold afflictions will vanish.
