Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana
Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana has been launched for the upliftment of urban poor people by providing them sustainable livelihood opportunities through skill development. The scheme is an amalgamation of the National Urban Livelihoods Mission and the National Rural Livelihoods Mission. National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) has been renamed as Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana- (DAY-NULM). Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana was launched under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (HUPA).

Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana
Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Yojana in association with the Ministry of Rural Development aims to train the unskilled people from the needy section of the society. It also works towards providing home to homeless persons along with loans for setting up business. In 2011, the Ministry of Rural Development launched Aajeevika – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). The mission of the scheme was to eradicate unemployment through skill development and to pass on the spirit of efficiency to the citizens of India, especially from the rural areas. The target was set to cover 7 crore families spread over 600 districts in India.
