Ladli Laxmi Yojna has been implemented in Madhya Pradesh from 01.04.2007 with a view to positive thinking among the public towards girl child birth, improving sex ratio, improving the educational level and health condition of girls and laying the foundation for their good future.
Benefits of the scheme
Those whose parents are the domicile of Madhya Pradesh, are not income tax payers. Second episode of the child before the parent application to be accepted by the family planning.
Application and Registration
One can apply/registration with necessary documents directly or through Anganwadi worker from project office/public service center or any internet cafe. (All documents will have to be tested from the project office for acceptance of the case. After that the case can be approved or rejected.) After acceptance of the case, a certificate of Rs. 1,18,000/- will be issued by the government in the name of the girl child.
Supply of money
Under the scheme, in the name of the girl child, Rs.6-6 thousand will be deposited in Madhya Pradesh Ladli Laxmi Yojana fund for five consecutive years from the time of registration i.e. total amount of Rs.30000 will be deposited in the name of the girl child. Rs.2000 for girl child taking admission in class 6th, Rs.4000 for taking admission in class 9th, Rs.6000 for taking admission in class 11th and Rs.6000 for taking admission in class 12th through e-payment Will go The final payment of Rs. 1 lakh will be made on the girl child attaining the age of 21 years and appearing in class 12th examination, but the condition will be that the girl should not be married before the age of 18 years.
