Navrati starting from Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Magha month is called Gupt Navratri. In the year 2022, this Gupt Navratri is starting from 2nd February. Gupt Navratri has special significance among the devotees of Mother Goddess.

• During Ashadh Gupta Navratri, special worship of 10 Mahavidya Tantra Sadhana and Mahakal is done.
• According to ancient beliefs, the worship performed in Gupt Navratri is kept confidential.
• After retiring from bath etc. before Navratri, establish the Kalash in an auspicious time and resolve to fast for 9 days.
• If you establish the Kalash, then in the morning, chant the Shav Devi Mantra, recite Chalisa or Saptashati.
• Offer cloves and Batase to the Goddess at both the times.
• It is considered best to offer red colored flowers to the mother during Gupt Navratri.
• Keep your food and diet satvik for the entire nine days of Navratri.

Do’s and don’ts in Gupt Navratri?
• Sleeping in excess is prohibited during Gupt Navratri.
• Do not wear purple, blue or dark colored clothes during Gupt Navratri.
• During this time, garlic and onion should not be used in food.
• Never consume meat and alcohol these days. ,
• Sleep on a cushion instead of a bed or bed.
• Do not consume tamasic i.e. excessive oily and spicy food.
• Hair should not be cut during Gupt Navratri
• The shaving ceremony of children is also prohibited in Gupt Navratri.
• Never insult any woman even by mistake.
• Do not use items made of leather during Gupt Navratri.
• During Gupta Navratri, it is mandatory for the husband and wife to follow the rules of Brahmacharya for the entire nine days.
