The Bharatiya Janata Party has selected 172 candidates for the Vidhan Sabha elections this year. The party has declared the names of the candidates for the upcoming assembly election in Uttar Pradesh. Below is a direct link to the BJP Candidates List in PDF format for Uttar Pradesh.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already announced his candidacy in the UP elections. It is believed that he will contest from Ayodhya or any one seat in western UP. His name is included in the election list of BJP.
BJP has released the first list for the first phase of elections for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, which you can download in pdf format using the link given below. In the first phase, 57 out of 58 seats have been declared, in the second phase, 48 out of 55 seats have been announced, 63 out of 83 sitting MLAs have got tickets in both the lists. Tickets of 20 MLAs have been cut. In the first phase, 10 women have been given tickets. Also 21 new candidates have been given tickets and 21 of them are youths and doctors.
