Central Administrative Tribunal (Gp A and B Misc Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules 2021: Court Officer (L 8/10), Assistant (L 7), Caretaker(L 6) UDC (L 4) & LDC (L 2)

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th July, 2021

G.S.R. 513(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35 read with sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 13 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Central Administrative Tribunal (Group ‘B‘ and Group ‘C‘ Miscellaneous Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement

(1) These rules may be called the Central Administrative Tribunal (Group ‘B‘ and Group ‘C‘ Miscellaneous Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Central Administrative Tribunal (Group ‘B‘ and Group ‘C‘ Miscellaneous Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2015, (hereinafter referred as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

“2. Number of posts, classification and Level in Pay Matrix.— The number of said posts, their classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.”.

3. In the said rules, in the Schedule, —

(a) against serial number 1, relating to the post of Section Officer or Court Officer, —

(i) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

“Level in Pay Matrix
(4)
Level 8 (Rs. 47600 – 151100

and on completion of four years regular service in the Level 8 granted non-functional grade in Level 10 (Rs. 56100 – 177500)”;

(ii) in column (11), —

(A) under the sub-heading Promotion, —

(a) in item (i), for the words, figures and letters “pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4600”, the words, figures and letters “Level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix” shall be substituted;

(b) Note 2 shall be omitted;

(c) in item (ii), for the words, figures and letters “pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with grade gay of Rs. 4600”, the words, figures and letters “Level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix” shall be substituted;

(B) under the sub-heading Deputation or Absorption,-

(x) in item (a), in sub-item (ii), for the words, figures and letters “pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4600”, the words, figures and letters “Level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix” shall be substituted;

(y) Note 3 shall be omitted.

(b) against serial number 2, relating to the post of Assistant, —

(i) in column (1), for the words “Assistant”, the words “Assistant Section Officer” shall be
substituted;

(ii) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

“Level in Pay Matrix
(4)
Level 7 (Rs. 44900 – 142400)”;

(iii) in column (11), Note 2 shall be omitted;

(c) against serial number 3, relating to the post of Caretaker, —

(i) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

“Level in Pay Matrix
(4)
Level 6 (Rs. 35400 – 112400)”;

(ii) in column (11), —

(A) for the words, figures and letters “pay band-1 with grade pay of Rs. 2400”, the words, figures and letters “Level 4 (Rs. 25500 – 81100) in the Pay Matrix” shall be substituted;

(B) Note 3 shall be omitted;

(d) against serial number 4, relating to the post of Upper Division Clerk, —

(i) in column (1), for the words “Upper Division Clerk”, the words “Senior Assistant” shall be
substituted;

(ii) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

“Level in Pay Matrix
(4)
Level 4 (Rs. 25500 – 81100)”;

(iii) in column (11),-

(A) for the words, figures and letters “pay band-1 with grade pay of Rs. 1900/-”, the words, figures and letters “Level 2 (Rs. 19900 – 63200) in the Pay Matrix” shall be substituted;

(B) under the sub-heading Promotion, Note 2 shall be omitted;

(C) under the sub-heading Deputation, Note 2 shall be omitted;

(e) against serial number 5, relating to the post of Lower Division Clerk and Hindi Typist, —

(i) in column (1), for the words “Lower Division Clerk”, the words “Junior Assistant” shall be
substituted;

(ii) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

“Level in Pay Matrix
(4)
Level 2 (Rs. 19900 – 63200)”;

(iii) in column (11),

(A) in item (i), for the words, figures and letters “grade pay of Rs. 1800/-”, the words, figures and letters “Level 1 (Rs. 18000 – 56900) in the Pay Matrix” shall be substituted;

(B) under the sub-heading Note, in item (ii), for the words, figures and letters “grade pay of Rs. 1800”, the words, figures and letters “Level 1 (Rs. 18000 – 56900) in the Pay Matrix” shall be substituted.
