Sub: Issue of Identity Cards at par with CGHS Beneficiaries to CS(MA) Beneficiaries.

Respected Sir/Madam,

All the CGHS beneficiaries and their dependents are being provided with photo ID plastic cards individually with unique beneficiary ID number which need to be produced at each service point to avail the facilities. This system ensures smooth system of treatment to dependents.

At par with the above, it is requested that CS (MA) beneficiaries and their dependents may also be provided the facility.

It may kindly be appreciated that a large number of CA (MA) beneficiaries are also maintaining nuclear family status at their place of postings while maintaining their dependents like aged parents at their native place and in the absence of valid IDs they are facing acute difficulties in availing treatment at nearest empanelled/ recognised hospitals.

In view of this, you are requested to kindly consider the matter and arrange to issue necessary directives at the earliest.
