Subject: Request for vigilance update in Web Based Cadre Management System in respect of CSS officers – instructions for Nodal Officers

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Departments’ O.M. of even number dated 24.12.2019 and subsequent reminders dated 12.05.2020 and 04.06.2020 wherein it has been requested to update the vigilance status of ASOs/SOs/USs/DS/Directors of CSS on real time basis in the vigilance module of Web Based Cadre Management System on Quarterly basis to avoid delay in the process of cadre clearance, voluntary retirement, rotational transfer, promotion etc.

2. It is informed that the CS.I Division is facing functional inconveniences in taking timely action related to cadre management activities for want of the updated vigilance status by the Ministries/Departments. The concerned Nodal Officers may therefore ensure that the vigilance status of all officers of CSS in the grade of ASOs/SOs/USs/DS/ Director may be updated positively in the vigilance module of CSCMS to facilitate this Department to take timely action.
