Railways is not planning to decrease the rates of overtime and travel allowance

The fake news is circulating in the Twitter that, the overtime and travel allowances of railway employees is going to be deducted by 50 per cent. PIB Factcheck is confirmed that there is no such plan to deduct the overtime and travel allowances of railway employees in its official Twitter page.

It is being claimed in some news articles that #IndianRailways is planning to reduce the overtime and travel allowance of 13 lakh employees by 50 per cent.
#PIBFactCheck: This claim is #Fake. @RailMinIndia has not proposed to reduce the rates of overtime and travel allowance.
