Sub:- Consideration of the recommendations of a Committee constituted for formulating a new Safety Related Retirement Scheme

AIRF has raised the issue of reintroducing LARSGESS many a times and it was raised very vehemently during “SANGOSHTHI” organized by Hon’ble Minister of Railways on 16.07.2020 by AIRF. Railway Board has constituted a committee on LARSGESS. The committee in its recommendation has diluted the LARSGESS to a great extent and extracted out many benefits given to railway employees in this scheme along with limiting it to only two categories.
AIRF has observed that recommendations are mere eyewash. AIRF will submit its suggestion in due time but assure that dilution of LARSGESS won’t be accepted at all and we will get fruitful results for the railway employees.
