Union Cabinet approved 4% DA hike for central government employees & pensioners from Jan 2020
The Union Cabinet approved 4% increase in Dearness Allowance to all group of Central Government employees and officers under 7th CPC effect from 1st January 2020. It is very happy news for Central Government Employees about increases of DA and DR respectively.
Usually, DA is received by Central Government Employees to compensate for rising inflation. Early DA was 17% and Now adding 4% hike, it is increased from 17% to 21%. This will be beneficial to all Central Government employees and Pensioners , which means when the March 2020 salary and pension will be credited into the respective beneficiaries’ accounts, they will get 2 months arrears (January and February) as well.
