Grand of Selection Scale to Miscellaneous Category Teachers of JNVs

CIRCULAR

Sub: Orders dated 4.8.2017 of Hon’ble CAT, Ernakulam Bench in O.A. No. 180/627/2016 in the matter of N. Krishna Kumar v/s Union of India & Others regarding grant of Selection Scale to the Miscellaneous Category Teachers of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (JNVs) without insisting on higher qualification-regarding.

In compliance to Ministry of Human Resource & Development letter No. 17-33/2017-UT-3 dated 21.01.2020, approval of the competent authority is hereby conveyed for grant of Selection Scale to the Miscellaneous Category Teachers of JNVs without insisting on higher qualification in relaxation of the conditions contained in para 3 (v) of MHRD order NO.F.5-180/86-UT-1 dated 12.8.1987.

It is, therefore, requested to comply the above provision. Further, the number of the posts in the Selection Scale will continue to be restricted to 20% of the posts in the Senior Scale of the respective cadre. The other terms & conditions of the letter dated 12.08.1987 of MHRD will remain unchanged.

CORRIGENDUM

Subject: Field Service Concessions to Air Force personnel- Implementation of the recommendation of 7th Central Pay Commission.

Reference Government of India, Ministry of Defence letter No. Air HQ/S.24016/41/1/FSC(R)/PP&R-1/1438/D(Pay/Services) dated 17.07.1995 for grant of Field Service Concessions to Air Force personnel. Para 3.3.1 of the aforementioned letter may be read as under:

FOR:
(i) For a maximum period of 15 days :-

(a) When placed on the sick list provided that immediately on the expiry of the period on the sick list, he returns to an area at which the allowance is admissible;
(b)When on casual leave;
(c) While on transit from one Field Area/Modified Field Area to another;

(ii) For a maximum period of 3 months :

READ:
(i) For a maximum period of 15 days :-

(ii) For a maximum period of 20 days when on casual leave;
(iii) For a maximum period of 3 months :

2. All other contents of the letter and subsequent amendments if any will remain the same.

3. This issues with the concurrence of Defence (Finance) vide their ID No. 1(1)/2020-AG/PA/6 dated 22.01.2020.
