Vacancies in Ministry

Will the Minister of HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
be pleased to state:
(a) the details of the posts lying vacant in the Ministry of Human Resource Development;
(b) whether the Government is taking any special steps to fill up the said vacancies;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) The details of vacant posts in the Main Secretariat of Ministry of Human Resource Development is attached as Annexure-I.
(b) to (d) The posts belonging to various cadres such as Indian Statistical Services (ISS), Sub-ordinate Statistical Services (SSS), Indian Economic Services (IES), Central Secretariat Services (CSS), Central Secretariat Stenographers Services (CSSS), Central Secretariat Clerical Services (CSCS), Central Secretariat Official Language Services (CSOLS) etc. and posts under Central Staffing Scheme are filled up by respective Cadre Controlling Authorities as mentioned at Annexure I (A). In respect of vacancies mentioned at Annexure I (B), it is stated that filling up of vacancies is an ongoing and continuous process. These vacancies are filled through promotion/ direct recruitment/ deputation as prescribed in their recruitment rules issued by this Ministry.
