OFFICE MEMORANDUM

subject: Transport Allowance at double the normal rates to persons with disabilities employees in Central Government.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Ministry’s ID No.11(3)/2016-D(Civ-I) dated 12.07.2017 vide which Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure)’s OM No.21/5/2017-E.II(B) dated 07.07.2017 regarding grant of Transport Allowance to Central Government Employees as per 7th CPC rates was circulated to various administrative Divisions/Lower Formations under MoD.

2. In continuance of the ibid Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure)’s OM dated 07.07.2017, a copy of the clarification issued by MoF(DoE) on the above mentioned subject vide OM No.21/3/2017-E.II(B) dated 12.07.2018 is being uploaded on the MoD (Department of Defence) website under the link “Employees Corner -> Seventh CPC “for necessary action/compliance.

3. This issues with the approval of JS(E).
