Sub: Implementation of recommendations of 7th CPC – Para 11.12.140 – Grant of Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 (PB-2) i.e. Level 9 of Pay Matrix in case of Assistant Accounts Officer of IA & AD, Indian Civil Accounts Organization and P&T Accounts-reg.

Federation has come across with an Office Memorandum F. No. 25-2/2017-IC/E. III (A) dated 18th June, 2018 issued by the Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure) wherein the recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commission contained in Para 11.12.140 of the report read with MoF’s resolution No. 1-2/2016-IC dated 25th July, 2016 has been implemented only in respect of Indian Audit and Accounts Department, Indian Civil Accounts Organization and P&T Accounts Departments.

Federation feels sad to point out that the above orders issued by the Ministry of Finance are discriminatory and do not cover the Accounts Staff of Indian Railways. The said O.M. has created unrest and resentment among the staff of Accounts Department on Indian Railways.

NFIR, therefore, requests the Secretary, MoF (Department of Expenditure) to kindly see that the recommendations of 7th CPC as contained in Par 11.12.140 are also implemented in letter and spirit for Indian Railways Accounts Department Staff also.

Action taken in the matter may kindly be conveyed to the Federation.
