AYUSH HOSPITALS IN THE COUNTRY 2724. SHRI D. KUPENDRA REDDY:

Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA & NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY be pleased to state:

whether Government had planned to establish about 50 AYUSH hospitals in the country under Centrally Sponsored Scheme/National AYUSH Mission;
if so, the details thereof along with the locations wherein these hospitals have been/are being established, State-wise;
the present status of these hospitals and whether these hospitals have started functioning; and
if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (d) Under Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National AYUSH Mission (NAM), there is provision of financial assistance for setting up of upto 50 bedded integrated AYUSH Hospital in the States/UTs and Central Government has approved 72 numbers of 50 bedded integrated hospitals since inception of NAM and Grant-in —aid for these approved hospitals has been released in phase manner in different years from 2014-15 to till date. The detail of 50 bedded integrated AYUSH Hospital along with their location State/UT wise is furnished at Annexure.

Further, the implementation of the programmes comes under the purview of respective State/UT Governments and as per the progress report submitted by them they are under process of utilization of approved grant as released in different years from 2014-15 to till date for establishment of 50 bedded integrated AYUSH Hospital.
